A gentle family-friendly cycle from Barefield to Ballyalla Lake and back, taking in fresh Clare air, and beautiful lakeside scenery. The route offers a relaxed pace suitable for children and casual cyclists, with lovely views across Ballyalla Lake, plenty of nature to spot along the way, and a peaceful atmosphere throughout.

Ideal for young cyclists that must be accompanied by an adult.

This cycle is not suitable for very small children, balance bikes, or bikes without gears.

To ensure everyone enjoys the day, we kindly ask that young participants do some training in advance. Let’s make it a safe and enjoyable experience for all!

The free family cycle scheduled for Saturday, 20th June has been postponed as a mark of respect following the passing of a young local mother.

Our thoughts and prayers are with her family and the wider Barefield community at this difficult time.
